The world's first external SFF (2.5-inch disk drive) RAID subsystem.
The NSS1U12SSR features unprecedented space efficiency by providing
all advanced RAID functions in a 1U enclosure. Using 2.5-inch disk
drives allows twice the number of spindles within the same
footprint, and hence is ideal for I/O-intensive applications. The
NSS1U12SSR supports the capacity expansion with 3 or 4 JBOD
enclosures (60 HDD) and the flexibility of attaching both SAS or
SATA-II disk drives.
